A Commitment to our Environment
The environmental and societal impact of printing has rightly received increasing focus and scrutiny in recent years.
As a growing provider of high impact decoration solutions for packaging, Springfield Solutions recognises its responsibility to develop policies, procedures and practices, independently and in conjunction with its clients, to mitigate and minimise its impact on the environment.
The company also recognises that poorly considered activity to reduce environmental impact can have correspondingly negative impacts in other areas. Springfield Solutions is therefore committed to developing and implementing a considered and mature range of practices to reduce its burden on the environment whilst ensuring that its actions are, at least, impact-neutral on others areas of our responsibility to society at large.
Springfield Solutions will independently and proactively explore, evaluate and, where considered appropriate, implement activity in its own organisation to reduce its environmental impact.
When potential activity may have an impact on our clients, in terms of specification, performance or cost of material or process we will consult with our clients and offer alternative means of achieving their business goals whilst reducing the environmental impact. We will not however impose and will always allow the client to make the final choice.
A Certified Commitment
A major part of our commitment to behave in a responsible way has been to review and amend our business practices to ensure that they are compliant to the requirements of IS014001. We are now performing our business operations in a manner consistent with the obligations of ISO14001 and we look forward to securing certification in the near future.
