At Springfield Solutions we take health, safety and the working environment of our staff incredibly seriously. After all, without them, we wouldn’t have a business.

Due to this commitment, we have just been presented with a Gold Award by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for the eighth year running.

This means that for the past eight consecutive years, we have achieved the RoSPA’s top ranking for health and safety by ensuring all our staff work in the safest environment we can possibly provide.

And with a commitment to continual improvement, we hope to constantly build on this record in the future, making sure our workforce remains safe, happy and injury free.

Dave Medcalf (pictured left with our Joint Managing Director, Dennis Ebeltoft), enabling services manager at Springfield Solutions, said he was delighted that the company’s drive for continual improvement in health and safety had consistently been recognised by the RoSPA.

“We have always tried to put the welfare of our staff at the top of our list of priorities because as a business we function on knowledge, expertise and experience,” Mr Medcalf said.

“We recognise that our staff operate in a varied environment and that means we have a lot of challenges to manage, but we have great people in place to do that and feel that through regularly reviewing our health and safety policy and promoting continuous improvement, we do it well.

“We’re delighted with this latest accolade and feel that eight back-to-back gold awards is recognition for the hard work that goes into our health and safety policy.”

The RoSPA was set up nearly 100 years ago to help change attitudes and legislation towards accidents in work, at home, on the roads and in the general environment.

David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, added: “The RoSPA Awards encourage the raising of occupational health and safety standards across the board.

“Organisations that gain recognition for their health and safety management systems, such as Springfield Solutions, contribute to a collective raising of the bar for other organisations to aspire to, and we offer them our congratulations.”
