We are delighted to announce for the 12th year in a row, we have been awarded the RoSPA President’s Award 2020. The RoSPA Health & Safety Awards are is one of the most prestigious and recognised schemes in the world, with almost 2,000 entries every year and a reach of over 7 million employees. The awards provide an effective route to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to raising health & safety standards.

We have received a RoSPA Health and Safety Award for working hard to ensure our staff & customers are able to leave our HQ at the end of the day knowing they have been in a safe and secure workplace.

Receiving this award means we are recognised as being in the top tier in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants attempt to achieve the highest possible accolade, in the various types of RoSPA award categories, for what is the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards.

Dave Medcalf, our Enabling Services Manager said:

“The President’s award we have received means we have sustained such high standards required for a number of years in that we have achieved Gold Medal status for 12 consecutive years. We are thrilled to receive this award which recognises all of the hard work from our staff during 2019.”

“Maintaining such high standards is something that is ingrained in our business and continues to evolve to ensure staffs health and safety is not adversely affected by being in the workplace. This mindset continues to serve us well as we go through unprecedented times in 2020 with the onset of COVID-19. In reaction to this, a full review of our H&S systems has been carried out to establish levels of risk present and ensure suitable controls are put in place. With our staff’s help, this has enabled us to certify that our business is “COVID-19 Secure in 2020.”
