Take the 365 Challenge with Fitmums & Springfield!

Following the success of the Fitmums & Friends 365 Challenge in 2017, when we challenged members of the public to either walk, run, cycle or buggy push 365 miles in 365 days, the 365 Challenge is back for 2018!

And this year it's bigger! With more charts to choose from, milestone certificates to download and that all important 'bling' medal when you complete your challenge, all designed by the team here at Springfield.

The aim of the challenge will again be to complete 365 miles by either walking, running, cycling or buggy pushing throughout 2018 however, those who prefer other forms of exercise, such as swimming or dance classes, can enter by aiming to rack up 365 hours of exercise across the year. The challenge can also be completed with a combination of both miles and hours.

Children taking part are also encouraged to complete 365 hours of physical exercise across the year too, in line with the national physical guidelines for five to 18 year olds.

These year's charts have been carefully crafted by the creative team here at Springfield and feature iconic Hull & Yorkshire imagery such as; the Moth, white telephone box, map of Yorkshire, Dead Bod and Larkin's Toad.

How do I get involved?

1. It costs £5 to take part; donate the entry fee of £5 for each participant via Paypal using the link PayPal.Me/fitmumsandfriends/5.00 alternatively, you can pay using BACS Sort Code: 40-25-59  Account Number: 00130370. Please put your name and "365" as Ref if paying this way. 

2. Then email 365@fitmums.org.uk with the following details: Each participant’s name, age and address (so Fitmums can send you your medal!) If you are a current Fitmums & Friends member, please tell them which Club you are with. (Don’t forget, you don’t need to be a member!) Tell Fitmums which activity chart each person would like.

3. Once payment and contact details are recieved, Fitmums will send you an email with a link to a downloadable activity chart. Print this o­ff – we recommend printing on A3 paper for best results but it will also work on A4 paper. Now you are ready to start the challenge. Your 365 days start from the day you choose.
