Today is International Print Day so we’ve set ourselves a huge challenge – to digitally print 100,000m of labels in just ONE day!!

After investing £1.3m in expanding our print hall earlier this year and bringing in additional equipment, we want to push ourselves even further and show that digital print is capable of hitting the kind of volume normally associated with traditional analogue printing.

Our Print Operations Manager Steve Nix said: “This is a major challenge for us – this is the largest volume of labels we’ve printed in one day. I’m quietly confident that it will go smoothly. We did a lot of prep work yesterday to make sure today goes as smoothly as it can.”

Joint managing director Dennis Ebeltoft said: “Innovation is one of our core values, so we continually push ourselves more and push the boundaries of digital print further and further.

“Digital print already matches, if not surpasses, traditional print in terms of quality and is certainly more efficient. What we want to show today is that digital can hit the volumes normally associated with flexo and litho.”
