We are proud to announce that Springfield Solutions has once again been recognised for our unwavering commitment to workplace safety, receiving the RoSPA Order of Distinction Award, which celebrates 17 consecutive RoSPA Gold Awards.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) awards are among the most prestigious accolades in occupational health and safety. They assess an organisation’s health and safety performance over a full calendar year, in our case, January 1 to December 31, 2024.

To receive 17 Golds in a row is a remarkable achievement. It reflects the depth of our commitment to accident prevention and continuous improvement.

At Springfield Solutions, workplace safety isn’t a tick-box exercise. It’s a core part of how we operate. Whether in our production areas, in our offices, or when collaborating with clients, every process is built around the safety and wellbeing of our people.

Sponsored by the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH), the RoSPA Awards scheme is the longest-running of its kind in the UK. Receiving entries from over 2,000 organisations across the globe, it is one of the most sought-after achievement awards for the health and safety industry.

Dave Medcalf, Enabling Services Manager said, “The receiving of the Order of Distinction Award from RoSPA this year once again reflects the continued levels of staff involvement in the various Health and Safety activities that regularly take place in our workplace. During the 2024 period that this award covered, we implemented significant increases in regular Health and Safety training for all staff via Toolbox talks, Hazard and Risk assessment skills as well as the introduction of Weekly Safety Walks.“

This achievement is a direct reflection of the incredible culture we’ve created together. A huge thank you goes to our Quality team, whose diligence, systems, and care drive our health and safety programme forward. But this recognition belongs to every team member who champions safe behaviours, supports their colleagues, and makes Springfield a place where safety comes first.
