Our latest case study demonstrates how we are able to cope with significant demand due to the COVID-19 crisis. In this case study, we discuss how chemical specialists Rutpen worked with Springfield to fulfil their urgent demand for product labels. 

Rutpen are a chemical contract manufacturer with a highly experienced team of chemical specialists. Their services vary from Contract Manufacturing, Product Development, Toll Blending and Solvent Recycling. During the COVID-19 crisis, Rutpen were contacted by the Cabinet Office to prioritise the production of alcohol hand sanitisers.

After responding to the call, the company set about producing an 80% Alcohol Sanitiser gel that is contained in a 500ml container.

One of the main challenges of this project was the speed required to fulfil this order. Rutpen wanted the labels and they wanted them fast.

Speed of production and delivery is something we pride ourselves on, thankfully this allowed us to fulfil these orders. Since we have started working with Rutpen, we have produced 438,000 Hand Sanitiser labels.  We continue to work with Rutpen to ensure that their urgent demands are met at the speed required.

Due to the fact we are a 100% Digital Printer, we are able to react quickly to our customer’s demands. This is because there are no printing plates or long setup times usually associated with conventional printing. The quick reaction is a tremendous benefit for a customer such as Rutpen, especially during the COVID-19 crisis.
