What is the service? 

This innovative, digital, sustainable packaging solution features a high-quality, digitally printed label that is applied to the tube before it is filled and sealed. The tube is then placed on the machinery to be filled and hermetically sealed, creating a high-quality end result comparable, if not superior to a printed tube.  

This machine can label up to 60 tubes per minute and fill and hermetically seal up to 2400 tubes per hour. Providing an efficient packaging solution with the flexibility of both short runs and larger orders for product sizes between 20-250ml. 

What are the benefits? 

No MOQs 

Thanks to this new turnkey digital solution, you will no longer meet the typically high industry minimum orders of 10,000 screen printed or pre-labelled tubes. 

Zero MOQs provides your businesses the flexibility to order what you need, when you need it. Therefore, cutting down on costs when ordering, as well as cutting down on your storage costs due to no longer needing large warehouses to store your over-stock! 

Fast Lead Times 

As your tube packaging will feature a digitally printed label, lead times are greatly reduced.  

This allows you to get your products to market much quicker, as our digitally printed labels have a maximum lead time of 5 days from receiving your approved artwork.  

On receipt of the labels, Qualkem offer a lead time of 5-10 working days dependant on volumes and tube availability.

Digitally printed labels provide a wide range of high-quality design and decoration capabilities across multiple substrates.  

From personalisation to premiumisation – by utilising digital labels on your tube packaging you will have access to a breadth of innovative, appealing design features. 

Sustainable Packaging Method 

By using this solution, your products can be filled in up to 100% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastic tubes with sustainable cap closures, which are developed from recycled and renewable sources.  

Each tube even contains the equivalent of 3 recovered plastic shopping bags! 

These recycled tubes couple perfectly with our eco-friendly label materials! At Springfield, we have a range of options within our ‘Eco Zone’ to increase the sustainability of your packaging. Including labels made of recycled materials, low density films and renewable materials.
