A Round-up of May’s Oh Yes Net Zero Events
In May, we we’re busy sharing our knowledge and learnings on Net Zero!
As a member of Oh Yes Net Zero since the campaign began in March 2022, we have said ‘Oh Yes!’ to several eco-initiatives.
On our Net Zero journey, we – as a business and as individuals – are continuing to find new ways to make an environmental difference. This includes sharing our journey with other local businesses to encourage others to be more sustainable too.
So, let’s get into a round-up of May’s events!
Firstly, Matt Dass, Joint Managing Director, visited Westminster alongside Rachael Laughton, to present the annual Oh Yes Net Zero Report to Rt Hon Sir Alok Sharma & Emma Hardy MP.
This was an incredible step on our city’s journey to Net Zero, as well as a huge achievement for us at Springfield.
Following this, Matt was joined by Lauryn Hall, SEO & Copywriting Executive, at the OYNZ Hull Truck event!
Matt & Lauryn spoke on the panel alongside representatives from Willerby Ltd, Councillor Mike Ross, Rt Hon Amber Rudd and David Shukman to provide insight on what Net Zero means for us as an SME, including some of our successes, struggles and wishes for the future.
Matt also spoke on a ‘Getting Started’ breakout session at this event with Ash Wray from C3 Group to provide insight to fellow local businesses who are beginning their journey to sustainability.
