Springfield Solutions is one of the UK’s leading brand management, digital print and interactive media providers. In 2018 we supplied over 11,000 digital artworks to customers in 39 countries and printed a 150 Million self adehsive labels for some of the World's largest brands. We currently have a vacancy for a logistics operator to join our growing business.
We require an individual to join our Logistics team in a Full Time role to carry out the following duties :-
- The receiving and inspection of incoming Goods.
- Issuing and receiving goods into and from stock.
- Preparing goods for despatch.
- Internal and external delivery of goods, which includes regular van driving.
You will have good verbal communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative but also as part of a team within an ISO environment.
You will be able to manage the diverse and complex requirements of the role, demonstrating the flexibility required for multi-tasking, be able to work under pressure and appreciate the need for prioritising work to meet deadlines.
You will have good numeracy skills, be computer literate, and have the ability to learn and accurately use computerised stock and courier delivery systems.
Experience of working in a warehouse and of delivery driving is desirable however full training will be given to the successful applicant. Possession of a full driving license is essential with experience of transporting goods by Fork Lift desirable.
The post is initially for a six month fixed term contract with a view to becoming permanent and attracts a competitive salary and benefits package.
