Springfield Completes Elite Business Development Team

Springfield Solutions has completed the formation of its new elite, business development team with the appointment of Steve May.

Steve brings 15 years’ experience of packaging, labels and flexibles to Springfield Solutions, which he acquired while working in contract manufacturing and for another printer.

He joins new appointees Charlotte Thorpe and Jane Stephenson in the business team, which has been created to drive sales across all divisions of the company.

The team is being led by John Grant, long time business development manager at Springfield Solutions, who has recently become the company’s Head of Sales & Business Development.

John said: “Steve is a fantastic addition to the team which is now complete. He has a lot of great experience working in the industry so brings a new set of insights to Springfield Solutions.

“He, Charlotte and Jane are already working well to extend our offering to existing clients and win new customers. I’m very confident that with the team now in place, we’ll continue to go from strength to strength.”

Londoner Steve is covering the south of England, from Birmingham down to the south coast.

He said he joined Springfield Solutions because of the company’s market-leading use of technology and its ethos of continual innovation.

Steve said: “Springfield has a reputation for pushing boundaries when it comes to technology and in particular digital print. The traditional methods of printing are old technology, digital is the new kid on the block, it is the future, and I want to be part of that.

“When I went to the interview I was amazed by the technology in the company and the approach of the management team, so I’m delighted to be part of the business.”
