About the Brand

Calder’s Kitchen was formed in 2015 after discovering a hidden, legendary family recipe.

The founders originally had no plans to start the business, but after uncovering Andrew’s Grandad’s recipe and making the piccalilli out of nostalgia, they soon realised they had stumbled on something excellent! Following further encouragement after selling it at farmers market, the team decided to give it a go and the brand was born!

The brand now produces a range of three Piccalillis and four chutneys. With a combination of traditional and spicy flavours based on ‘Grandad Charlie’s’ original piccalilli recipe, which dates back approximately to the 1960s.

Calder’s Kitchen have won several awards including Great Taste awards for four of their products, the Condiment World Cup in 2022, and most recently, a Farmshop & Deli Gold Award for their Chillililli!

The team at Calder’s Kitchen were recommended to use Springfield Solutions as a reliable label supplier by their contract manufacturer and began working with us in 2023.
